The Ressi Dance Group was started in order to bring bullied teens together for healing and the expression of emotion through dance. Its mission later evolved to encompass teens who experience shame about their body for any reason, teaching them that differences have the potential to foster beauty, and that each dancer is a fluid piece of the overall choreographed puzzle. The Ressi Dance Group reaches out to schools and clubs throughout the Denver Metropolitan area, informing students, parents, teachers and youth activists alike of the opportunities available. Social media and word of mouth also help to spread The Ressi Dance Group’s positive influence.
